About ZO.
ZO. is a recently launched business by Tishman Speyer to provide a comprehensive suite of wellness, lifestyle, hospitality and corporate services to tenants and their employees. At Rockefeller Center, ZO. operates onsite amenity spaces that host events and programming for tenants, including a food and beverage program, speaker events, health and wellness classes, screenings, and private tenant events.
Summary of Position
The Operations Manager for ZO. Rock Center will support the General Manager in managing the day-to-day operation of all ZO. Spaces within Rockefeller Center (the ZO. Clubhouse, the ZO. Lounge and the ZO. Library) and will be responsible for planning and execution of ZO. programming for the tenant community as well as management and execution of private tenant events. This individual will lead by example in adhering to and further developing the service culture and ZO. offering across the Rockefeller Center campus. Role will also be responsible for building and maintaining member relationships, coordinating the Ambassador Team, and monitoring of operational and financial reports.
Key Responsibilities
Execution of Daily Operation
Assist GM in maintaining proper staffing levels, recruiting and interviewing processes Create and manage weekly schedules ensuring all shifts are covered including additional programing and events outside the normal business hours Monitor and track weekly payroll, including overtime and gratuities Work with Tenant Services to ensure all cleanliness standards are met daily Work with Property Management to maintain facility as it relates to supply needs, equipment, security, cleaning, repairs and maintenance
Monitor and report all FF&E needs and all operating supply pars Adhere to company policies accidents and incident reporting procedures Perform daily walk through of all ZO. Spaces, highlighting and executing improvements where necessary
Embodies and displays Core Values in daily work ethic and interactions internally and externally
Events and Programming Responsible for coordinating and execution of all ZO. programming events, including ensuring programming content is posted and current on the ZO. app. Provide Rock Center marketing team with programming calendar and event details for weekly ZO. marketing emails and other channels publicizing ZO. events Manage inquiries, sales process, coordination and execution of private events in ZO. spaces
Food and Beverage
Ensure compliance with health, sanitation, liquor, safety and employment regulations by clearly communicating and reinforcing standards and procedures to all employees.
Ensure employees have all required certifications
Meet with the Food and Beverage Partner weekly to review equipment needs, inventory needs, operational challenges and member feedback
Responsible for managing monthly liquor inventories and cost of liquor
Ensure that storage area and refrigerators are maintained, organized and up to all hygienic standards
Training and Development
Supervision and modification of the training program for all new hires
Lead by example while providing real time coaching on a regular basis
Participate in daily standup and monthly team meetings Educate all staff continuously regarding guest service techniques and SOPs Work with GM to develop and drive individual employee growth plans
Communication and Reporting
Ensure Shift Reports are sent, thorough and completed, with a plan to follow up on all outstanding items
Compile and send a weekly report highlighting the State of the Operation to General Manager Connect with Experience Team and Property Management regularly to ensure all are in the know regarding ZO. Events & Programming as well as greater Rockefeller Center Events & Programming Ensure member attendance and RSVPs for each Member Event is logged and reported effectively. Manage ZO. Member No Show Policy
Manage both Clubhouse and Info Inboxes for Rockefeller Center
Financial
Collaborate with Property Management to ensure all invoices are processed and tracked accurately and paid in a timely manner
Assist accounting support in processing and tracking of all incoming revenue, payments and operating expenses
Assist in generation of monthly financial statements in working with General Manager and ZO. Accounting Support
Compile a monthly statement and analysis highlighting overall performance to budget
Ensure monthly inventory completed and logged

A minimum of three years of experience in a similar position at a fast paced, high volume hotel, restaurant, private members club or co-working space.
Must be fluent in English. Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business documents, safety rules, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations. Ability to compose reports, business correspondence, task lists and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, team members and guests.
Ability to apply creative solutions to practical problems and situations where limited standardization exists. Ability to remain flexible in determining a variety of problem-solving approaches. The employee must have the ability to maintain composure and professionalism in stressful situations.

The Operations Manager must regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds; frequently lift and/or
move up to 5-30 pounds. Specific vision
requirements include close vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Must have open availability including early mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays
Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
