Job Description: Industrial Engineer: Coordinate activities to achieve productivity initiatives on product labor and cost standards in the Pharmaceuticals Operations. Support Business Units operations to assure quality of products and services, as well as compliance with manufacturers standards. Asses and reengineer existing operations, development/transfer of new products, improvement of labor processes, facility systems and optimum utilization of existing resources. Responsible for identifying and facilitating the implementation of operational improvement projects related to manufacturing processing, packaging and warehouse activities. Responsibilities: Analyze and improve manufacturing process, aiming to increase efficiency and productivity, while reducing non-value added activities. Generate cost analysis data to support these recommendations. Develop strategies and methods to identify productivity initiatives aimed to enhace operational competitiveness within Business Units Operations, while supporting Engineering Department through the justification of Capital Projects. Establish zed working methods to optimize utilization of resources(human, machine, time and materials) in activities related to improvements of manufacturing/packaging operations improvements. If required, implement systems for monitor performance against standard budgeted costs. Monitor performance and improvements key metrics, such as OEE and OOE, followed by corrective actions on such improvement opportunities. Review production schedules, equipment performance and manufacturing throughputs to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures and activities. Perform project Management functions from initial schedule to final implementation by following RFTs DMAIC Methodology, while acting as a change agent supporting Lean manufacturing Culture. Work with Capacity analysis, Statistical Analysis and assist in the development and delivery of training for operational excellence program tools. Requirements: Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering with 0-3 years of experience in pharmaceutical industries (API and Drug Product). Fully Bilingual. Written and Verb
